Hard luck for Shireen, she was next in line to leave the academy. This time the audience had the final word, and Laith from Palestine got the majority of the arab's votes. Despite the fact that they were the selected nominees, they showed a stunning performance as they sang for Um Kultoum and Melhem Barakat.
The evening kicked off with a performance from the amazing Carole Samaha. Her presence and charisma made it challenging for Kenza to sing along, but she was really up to the standards. The second guest was Saad Lemjarrad who was accompanied by Abdel Salam. As they stopped to mention the top 3 for this week, Mina from Egypt has managed to hit the number 1 rank again and won a trip to Abu Dhabi. The surprise was not only limited to Mina, but Ibtissam, Kenza, and Ghada were astounded by a visit from their mothers.
Hilda Khalife went on stage dressed by the famous Zuhair Mrad, and with an astonishing look by Victor Keyrouz. She adds a twist to the program, combining style, glamour, and trend at once.
9 contestants remain; competition is fierce as we have reached a stage where everyone deserves to be a winner. Plenty of surprises are yet to come along with many disappointments, but surely there will only be one winner, so stay tuned...
