Samsung Electronics Levant and CTC Launch the 5th Generation of GALAXY S Series Smartphone and Gear Devices in Lebanon

Samsung Electronics Levant, a global leader in digital media and convergence technologies, and CTC (Cherfane Tawil & Co.), the authorized distributor of Samsung Electronics in Lebanon, announced the launch of the GALAXY S5, Samsung's latest smartphone and the second generation of Gear devices at a press conference held at the Phoenicia Hotel in Beirut.

The Galaxy S5 is designed while keeping consumers' needs in mind, to offer a refined experience with innovation of essential features for day-to-day use, and deliver new technologies exclusive to Samsung for smartphones, including; Snapdragon processer 801 2.5GHz (This is for LTE version) 3G processor is Exynos 5 octa core (1.9GHz Quad core + 1.3 GHz Quad core), the heartbeat monitor, the download booster for speedy download of any content or application, and the Ultra Power Saving Mode feature that offers up to 24 hours of battery life when the indicator reaches 10%.

Mr. Bumsuk Hong, President of Samsung Electronics Levant said during the event: "Today we launch the 5^th generation of the GALAXY S smartphone series in the Lebanese market, and we are proud to announce that Lebanon is one of the countries that will launch the GALAXY S5 before the global launch, reaffirming Lebanon's promising market position".
