Surprise guests also made their way to the colorful state of the art stage bracing the crowd with a majestic visual experience.
"We are so excited that the Festival of Colours was so well received in Beirut. The registered attendance exceeded all expectations attracting not only visitors from Lebanon but from all over the world", says Roula Mezher, Managing Director at Mindwhisk Events. Tourists from Ecuador, Sweden, London and Belgium among others gathered in Beirut to attend the spectacle. "Beirut is and will always remain a party capital despite all the hardships and turmoil", she added. Mezher also expects the festival to extend its presence to other countries of the Middle East.
The Festival of Colours is the first in this form and of this size amongst the Lebanese festivals. Originating from India, the festival has spread to London, Berlin, Paris, Dresden, Hannover, Munich and many other cities, creating a never before seen collective feeling of euphoria and togetherness.
