The official launching party event of Uber's arrival in Beirut, held  on Thursday 28th of August 2014,at La Plage .

 

Uber is a smartphone app that allows users to connect to licensed private drivers in the area at the touch of a button, using the phone's GPS to detect both the user's and drivers' locations. This means that Beirut residents can get a safe, reliable and convenient ride anywhere in the city - even if they don't know the exact street address.
