Both geometry and flowers have been constant sources of inspiration for Tony Ward, so it only seemed a natural evolution for him to explore an interesting mixture of the two concepts, and create a collection based on the unique and complex patterns of flowers. After all, geometry is all around us, particularly in nature.
For this Fall Winter 2017/18 Couture collection, geometric floral patterns are reinvented and delicately handcrafted. Organic volumes are recreated with ethereal silks. The garments take shape in vibrant colors, such as burgundy and jade, soft shades like silver and rose and timeless black and white.
Fascinated by the precision of the flowers' shapes, Tony Ward meticulously examined their intricate outlines and reimagined these elaborate forms in his creations.
