With its 12th edition, the Garden Show and Spring Festival keeps aiming to bring together people from different ages in a wide outdoor space filled with beautiful flowers, plants, colors, sceneries, cultures and more. Considering the fact that Lebanon has very few gardens and public areas, the Garden Show and Spring Festival is the place to be and it is finally here. Don't miss the chance to check it out at the Beirut Hippodrome from May 26-30 from 5 till 11 pm.
This year, The Garden Show & Spring Festival celebrates "Jounaynate Bayt el Jabal" where family and friends share these long and tranquil summer days in the garden surrounded by traditional plants and trees.
Not only does the exhibition provide an extensive and wide array or garden and floral retail products, but it also offers great food and entertainment for the whole family. It has nurseries, outdoor games and playgrounds for children to enjoy the summer weather and run as much as they want!
The activities at the exhibition are many. They include:
-A nap in the garden: this is an exhibition specially organized for the event. Five designers will re-create the mood and ambiance for a summer nap in the garden.
-Bubbles and Flowers: is a flower competition organized during the exhibition. It is open to all the florists and flower shops in Lebanon. The theme of the competition is: Champagne and Flowers arrangement for a garden party.
-Tea and Spices from India: a wide variety of tea lead by the expert coming from Delhi will be offered. Each day a focus will be made on a different tea.
-Turban Demonstration: Mr Narendra Rathore and Mr Aditya Singh, both Indian from Rajasthan, will demonstrate twice a day how to wrap the turban around the head.
-Reading-on-grass On the occasion of Beirut world book capital, the Agenda Culturel welcomes the children at The Garden Show in a stand dedicated to youth literature.
-Competition for the attendees: Don't forget to snap a picture on your way out at the Garden Show green carpet and post it for a chance to win an outdoor table set with chairs!
