Star academy, the talent show program and the reality TV show, directed by Roula Saad and hosted by Hilda Khalife, has captured the attention of many since it first started in 2003. At first, it has received plenty of criticism, especially due to the fact that it's a reality show in the Arab world, and everyone thought it would fail; however, it later became the number one viewed talent show ever broadcasted. Fans follow their stars on a 24hour channel, can tweet with them, and interact with them. Each week, a new prime is aired for the students to perform and show their improvements, and at the end of each prime, we lose a student to voting. Each prime has its special taste as we are used to the appearances of some of the most important celebrities; be it locals or foreigners.
It is literally an academy, graduating stars for 9 seasons in a row; Mohamed Attieh, Hisham Abdulrahman, Joseph Attieh, Shatha Hassoun, Nader Guirat, Abdulaziz Abdulrahman, Nassif Zeitoun, Nesma Mahgoub, and Mahmoud Mohy.
Season 10 has kicked off with Ragheb Alami as a guest, and we got to know this season's new contestants, and as usual, we all expect plenty of surprises. Everyone will be eyeing the glamorous Hilda Khalife, and her appearance in every prime, combining elegance and style, after she made her first appearance last week in the breath taking blue dress of Zuhair Mrad.
