The story could not have possibly ended this way, with such an abrupt twist of fate. The return of SKYBAR was highly anticipated and the iconic nightclub re-opened its doors on Wednesday the 2nd of August, 15 years after its inception.
As a legacy to SKYBAR's unprecedented global success, it is with respect to the preliminary layout designs done by Sari el Khazen that sister architects Tessa and Tara Sakhi of atelier2té developed the new project.
Nostalgia and resilience, both engrained in the Lebanese social fabric, were the driving force behind atelier2té's concept: how to recreate the venue, while preserving SKYBAR's identity.
In addition to using innovative technologies and state-of-the-art light and sound systems which are one of Sky Management's trademark, Mirror cladding, fragmented screens, and infiltrated greenery, were used to convey a distorted perception of the space and its surrounding. As for recuperated materials scattered around, they are reminiscent of SKYBAR reemerging from its ashes with a fresh new identity.
The SKYBAR experience has stayed true to itself in providing its loyal patrons with unforgettable memories.
Guests can now indulge in a sumptuous dinner prepared by Le Sushi Bar at SKYBAR.
