Maestro Adalberto Martínez Solaesa revives the organ in Beirut!
On November 8th, maestro Adalberto Martinez Solaes came from Madrid to revive the 19th-century organ of Beirut's Assembly Hall!
Organist at the University of Malaga, familiar with European scenes on which he has long played solo or in symphony orchestras, and multiple prizewinner - awarded at the prestigious Royal Conservatory of Madridamong others -, Adalberto Martinez Solaesa offered last Friday to the Lebanese audience a concert that will not soon be forgotten. That was indeed a unique experience, since organ is totally absent from the National Conservatory educational programs and is generally not a discipline taught in Lebanon.
A golden opportunity to (re)visit classics, provided by the Spanish Embassy and the Cervantes Institute!
