September 11th 2014, has witnessed the grand opening of the highly anticipated luxury boutique; Monte Cassino Hotel. The theme couldn't be more prestigious; Gatsby! It was a 1920s style party, and the hosts couldn't demonstrate more professionalism and style; men with their tux and women with their fancy attractive dresses. Everyone was dressed up to the occasion, and the queue was so long, all awaiting to take a picture with the owners on the red carpet in celebration of their success.
We started out with a tour across the rooms. What's so special about this hotel is that every room has a unique design which differentiates it from the rest, and is specially priced according to its amenities. Inside every room, there is a Jacuzzi, each designed to fit the room's style. During your stay at the hotel, the guests have access to an IPTV featuring the latest box office, a mini bar, pool access, and a breakfast of your choice, either oriental or oriental.
The opening party was set on the roof top which oversees the breath-taking gulf of Jounieh along with the famous Casino Du Liban. From the heart of Keserwan, and funded by Lebanese alone, the owners wanted to prove Lebanon's power in the touristic industry. All the trouble we are passing through won't stop them from further developing high end projects. Not only is it unique with its location, or service, but also the belief of its owners that the touristic field is still the heart of the Lebanese economy. And not only is it made for tourism and entertainment, but can also host business meetings. The owners thanked the support of his Excellency the Minister of Tourism; Mr. Michel Pharaon, without whom they wouldn't have featured this opening. Mr. Pharaon later took the stage to congratulate Mr. Elie Demian, the owner, and his family, for his belief in Jounieh, Lebanon, and this threatened economy. "We have so far opened 5 hotels in Lebanon despite all that's happened, and the touristic rate is still at an acceptable level." He later saluted the martyrs in the Lebanese army, emphasizing that they are not only defending the security and stability, but also the culture and the economy.
The opening was crowded with celebrities, who enjoyed refreshing drinks and tasty appetizers. Monte Cassino is the first hotel of its kind in Jounieh, and it will offer its guests the ultimate Italian luxury. The fine dining restaurant offers a superior menu to those seeking an upscale service and premium gourmet kitchen. We all hope it will become the favourite destination for celebrities and public figures.
