The Italian Night is back at Gefinor Rotana Hotel

Under the patronage of the Italian Embassy and His Excellency Mr. Massimo Moretti, Gefinor Rotana hotel re-launched its famous Italian Night on Monday November 21^st in a fun event with the honourable presence of Mrs. Simona Di martio and Mr. Edoardo Crisafulli representing the Embassy and the famous Italian writer Mr. Giorgio Massei. The renowned Lebanese Chef Chady Zaitouny, being half Italian and having an unmatched experience in the Italian cuisine, was the host of the night. Invitees also included media partners and social media influencers.

Guests arrived at the Moodz lounge where they were served refreshing Italian drinks. Mr. Chafic Feghali, the hotel's GM representative and financial controller, welcomed everyone and said: "Gefinor Rotana is known for being open to all cultures and we are pleased of this amazing cooperation between the hotel and the Italian Embassy. We are also proud to be the destination to all Italian food lovers and Italian communities in Lebanon by offering them a wide variety of specialty dishes."

Attendees were then invited to a mouthwatering buffet, the result of a fruitful and unique collaboration between the hotel's executive chef Jean Makhoul and Chef Chady Zaitouny who added his special Italian touch to the menu. The dishes included new Italian specialties, exclusively served at Gefinor Rotana like the traditional Lasagne, Fried Fritto Misto, Melanzane alla Parmigiana and Parma ham Tonnatto Vitello and which everyone should come and try out.

Chef Zaitouny and Mr. Massei engaged with the guests through unique interactions during the night explaining about dishes and their origins. The music was also a combination of Italian rhythms and lounge melodies, which added the Italian feel to the night.

Always eager to create new theme nights as per the market's interests, Gefinor Rotana is always keen on reinforcing the ties between different cultures through many activities, like the Italian Night that allows visitors, every Wednesday, to experience the magical culinary uniqueness of the Italian cuisine.
