For the Spring Summer 2016 Collection, Dany Atrache dreams of..................
He imagines this mysterious woman, with the gypsy look of the modern times, as painted on an easel. Her floral scent charms and seduces, her shape seems illusive.
Wrapped of silk muslin, she walks barefoot on tapestries also in the middle of a summer flower garden then dances on a tribal song and takes us along on her journey.
This collection is decidedly ethnic, marked with a breath of freedom embalmed by magic; a nomadism nouveau - art inspiring mixture and a borrowing of cultures and music from elsewhere.
The materials of this collection merge between muslin and organza, lace and guipure, silk satin and flower embroidery which evoke the work of Moroccan handicrafts, the silk crepe finished with style of yesteryear.
The colors of inspiration for this season dare to be black, white and gold and shades of fire marrying ocher, orange and blue in its intensity variations.
