For the fourth year running, In Action Events is delighted to announce that it will be hosting Christmas in Action 2015 in a fantastic new initiative that will benefit the Children Cancer Center of Lebanon. Set to be the biggest Christmas market exhibition of the year, Christmas in Action will take place at the Trainstation Mar Mikhael for a truly sensational festive experience running from the 2nd to the 6th of December 2015.
Between 4pm and 10pm on weekdays, and 12pm to 10pm on weekends, the charming cobbles of the Trainstation will transform into a winter wonderland with a handful of festive events and plenty of Christmas stalls lining the venue along with live entertainment and music. Offering an alternative to the high street, Christmas in Action will host 5 days of seasonal shopping, as around 100 independent designers, cult craftspeople and Lebanese artisans bring the Trainstation to life.
But that's not all, in addition to art, design and music, the market will host a kids area - courtesy of Les Bouffons - and will be bursting with boutique stalls by Souk El Akel, Lebanon's prime street food market, offering delicious and heartwarming Christmas treats to satisfy your stomach and give your cheeks a warm glow.
And when night falls, the market will become even more charming as fairly lights will cast their soft glow over the hustle and bustle of the city, offering the perfect setting in which to begin the festive celebrations.
But what could make the holiday season more magical than all proceeds going to the Children Cancer Center of Lebanon? Nothing really. So if you're looking for that one-off 'good cause' present to gift your loved one, this is the perfect place to pick up quality local designer clothes, arts and crafts, jewelry, toys, little wonders to dress your home, and a yule log or two.
Entry to Christmas in Action is 5000L.L, and a wander past the Souk El Akel, around child-friendly area or through the Christmas market is a real treat for anyone feeling the spirit of the season, as long as you're ready to hear all those songs as you potter.
