Beirut International Film Festival Closing

The Beirut International Film festival for the year 2014 held its closing at Planète Abraj Cinemas on Thursday October 9th 2014. The closing film was "A MOST WANTED MAN by Anton Corbijn," starring the late Philip Seymour Hoffman, Rachel McAdams, Homayoun Ershadi, Robin Wright and Grigoriy Dobrygin. The Synopsis is about "a tortured and near-dead half-Chechen, half-Russian man on the run arrives in the city's Islamic community desperate for help and looking to recover his late Russian father's ill-gotten fortune." The BIFF received the star and actor of the movie on the closing day; Mr Homayoun Ershadi. Iranian films, both in Kurdish and Farsi, won half of the ten awards delivered at the 14th edition of the Beirut International Film Festival.
