Beirut Design Week, the annual festival initiated by MENA Design Research Center and dedicated to all forms of design and architecture, will be taking over the capital for the 7th time this year under the theme "Design & the City".
The opening is set to take place on June 22nd at Beit Beirut, the recently established museum at Sodeco Square.
Other highlights include the BDW2018 Parking lot at the intersection of the Pierre Gemayel highway and Armenia street, where there will be a variety of public installations celebrating the value of design to the urban environment.
A model of an ideal pedestrian street will engage many designers, startups and architects in J'eanD'Arc street in collaboration with the AUB neighborhood initiative.
Palestinian design duo Anastas Brothers will be launching their first solo exhibition in Lebanon at Dar el Nimer.
And as every year each district of Beirut will showcase some of the latest designers, collection launches and open studios.
