After setting it on the Lebanese tourist map and entering the Guinness Book of World Records and achieving a series of global achievements, Badr Hassoun Eco Village will honor Pope Francis with a distinctive gift from natural lebanese herbs and plants. On this occasion, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Health Ghassan Hasbani with a delegation from the ministry, and Deputy Dima Jamali representing President Saad Hariri, and a number of media personalities visited Badr Hassoun Eco Village at “Dahr El Ain” Koura. The Owner and Founder of Badr Hassoun Eco Village, Dr. Bader Hassoun, welcomed the guests and talked about “the stages of establishing the village that was his childhood dream and how he would go to this field and work in it. He said he planted about 60,000 square meters of flowers. There are many families who benefit from the work in the village and its products, pointing on its role as one of the most important Lebanese touristic destinations.”
The culture of love, peace, and humility represented by Pope Francis is now being sown in Badr Hassoun Eco Village, Khan Al Saboun, which is preparing a special gift specially made for Pope Francis, a product containing natural herbs and plants extracted from the heart of Lebanese nature. The Lebanese Minister of Health, Ghassan Hasbani, attended a presentation by a team of specialists and experts at the village laboratories, who explained about the phases of production of this special gift that will be presented in the form of a fragrance full of purity and peace. It was made specifically for the first man of peace in the world, “Pope Francis” and will be presented by Lebanese Patriarch Mar Bishara Boutros Al-Ra'i, during the next few days. This is not the first time that Pope Francis has recognized the products of the Badr Hassoun Eco Village. He has already praised the products and highlighted on them "they are made with love and passion, so their effect reaches directly to the heart and the soul." Dr. Badr Hassoun considered this "a new achievement and a triumph for the Lebanese industry, especially that they are "Made in Lebanon ", and the emphasis that we are a country of peace and love, and that this achievement will be a pride for all Lebanon in all its sects and a proof that Lebanese industry occupies the most advanced sites in the world. This gift is the outcome of years of Badr Hassoun's long scientific experience since 1480 till present in the field of soap, perfumes and natural medical products. " This special day ended with a lunch at Badr Hassoun environmental restaurant Dahr Al Ain, which serves healthy dishes from the village, and Mr. Amir Hassoun, Marketing Director at Badr Hassoun Eco Village, offered to the guests valuable gifts from the village, in addition to a distinctive fragrance made especially for them.
