Under the patronage of the Embassy of Armenia in Lebanon and organized by Aramé Art Gallery, a formal opening ceremony for the exhibition entitled "Enchanted Reality" was held at 6 p.m. on Sunday, 18 December, in the Jewelry quarter of the Beirut Souks, Downtown Beirut.
The opening ceremony was attended by His Excellency Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchian, Deputy Chief of Mission in the U.S. Embassy in Beirut Mr. Danny Hall, First Secretary of Russian Embassy in Lebanon, current and former deputies and ministers, representatives of Lebanese political, judiciary and military authorities and a crowd of art critics, in addition to art lovers and collectors.
After the welcoming word of Mr. Michael Vayejian the representative of Aramé Art Gallery in the Middle East & Gulf Countries, His Excellency Ambassador Samvel Mkrtchian addressed the distinguished guests underlying the worldwide achievements of Armenia's painters and the role that Aramé Art Gallery is playing in presenting Armenian creativity to the world. H.E. the Ambassador also stressed the high level of cooperation and the warm relations developed between Lebanon and Armenia in the past decade.
Aramé Art Gallery's "Enchanted Reality" exhibition is a unique art show that features 85 selected works of a 22 Armenian Master Artists, among which 8 of them hold the title of honorable artist of Republic of Armenia. The represented artists are Shart, Mher Mansurian. Samvel Lajikian. Sarkis Hamalbashian, Daron Mouradian, Gabo, Shota Voskanian, Dikran Matulian, Marat Margarian, Ruben Grigorian, Aram Hagopian and others.
