Under the patronage of His Excellency Mr. Tom Fletcher the British Ambassador to Lebanon, Solidere and MEADOWS ngo launched the Exhibition of the “London 2012 Olympic Legacy” by Lebanese Olympian Artists Lena Kelekian and Hagop Sulahian winners of the London 2012 Olympic Fine Arts gold medals.
Opening took place on Monday May 27, 2013,at Piece Unique art gallery, Saifi Village, Beirut and will run until Saturday June 15, 2013. Monday to Saturday from 10am till 6:00pm.
An exhibition unique in its kind as both artists will be displaying digitally doctored images of their winning artworks that are presently displayed in the Olympic Fine Arts Museum in a multidisciplinary fashion as well as the acquired medals and the Olympic torch.
This exhibition will be presenting to the Lebanese public the new approach adopted to the reintroduction of the arts within the Olympiads.
