Two deliciously new co-branded VISA loyalty programs were unveiled to over 100 media figures in addition to influential members of Lebanon's blogging and online community on Friday June 13 at Le Gray Hotel, Beirut: the VISA Roadster Diner co-branded loyalty program and the VISA Zaatar w Zeit co-branded loyalty program. The double launch event kicked off at "Indigo on the Roof" with a press conference and then moved to "Cherry on the Rooftop" for cocktails. These two new loyalty programs are testament to Roadster diner's, Zaatar w Zeit's and VISA's commitment to offering appetizing rewards.
Both loyalty programs are tied to VISA prepaid cards that are offered to Zaatar w Zeit enthusiast and Roadster diner "RD lovers" free of charge for life. Fans can benefit from the loyalty programs without having to open a bank account. They can simply charge their cards at any of the 1,200 OMT branches across Lebanon. The cards can be used for online purchases and are accepted at all points of sale (POS) in Lebanon and throughout the world.
The new co-branded loyalty programs are the evolution of the two F&B brands' ongoing loyalty programs. Zaatar w Zeit's loyalty program was launched in 2010. Guests could collect points and then redeem them in-store while enjoying lots of online and offline promotions with the chance to win many valuable prizes. This new co-branded VISA loyalty program takes things to the next level. Now guests can enjoy additional benefits while having a loyalty card that is also a practical, easy to use payment card.
Roadster diner introduced the Rd Lover Reward Program in May 2012. Over the course of 10 draws, more than 350 lucky winners received many valuable gifts. Now Roadster diner is launching a new co-branded loyalty program which allows Rd Lovers to benefit from their purchases through cash-back redemption in addition to many more valuable benefits from VISA through this free-for-life debit card. Both loyalty programs give cardholders the chance to 'level up' the more points they collect. The higher the cardholder's status, the greater the benefits.
During the double launch event, Mr. Ramzi Sabbouri, Country Manager of VISA Lebanon announced the co-branding with Roadster diner and Zaatar w Zeit: "We are confident that the introduction of the Roadster diner and Zaatar w Zeit Visa Prepaid Loyalty Cards will be received very favorably by Roadster diner and Zaatar w Zeit customers and we look forward to seeing strong demand in the near future." Mr. Donald Daccache (CEO of both F&B concepts) then discussed the partnership and its impact on both brands: "Our customer centric culture is the pillar that both brands were built on and by this culture, we will pave the way for more innovations in the future."
Mrs. Frida Farah, Managing Director of Zaatar w Zeit, went on to discuss the mechanics and benefits of this co-branding and how it will be integrated into the current loyalty program: "Today's event is more than a card launch. We want to offer our customers a unique added-value and a long-term partnership. It is a THANK YOU, Pure and simple." Mrs. Sahar Dumyati, Senior Brand Manager at Roadster diner wrapped up by highlighting how the new program works, the benefits, and its incorporation into the older loyalty program: "At Roadster diner, loyalty is not just a card. It is a promise that is honored for a lifetime."
