Lebanon is a beautiful country, at least we can all agree on that. Before thinking about traveling around the world, take a minute and explore your own surroundings, your own country! We decided to start this series of 5 things to do in specific regions in Lebanon. This will give you an idea of what’s around you that you haven’t been seeing, and it will help those coming from abroad to easily roam around Lebanon as well.

Below are 5 things you could do if you were ever in Zahle or decided to road trip there:
1.Visit Chateau Ksara

Chateau Ksara is the country's oldest winery, founded in 1857 by Jesuit Fathers. Make a day tour out of it with your friends or family with a tour around the winery, as well as wine tasting, wine making and so much more!
2.Lady of Zahle and Bekaa
.
You can’t make your way to Zahle without a stop at Lady of Zahle and the church! Something worth seeing and visiting.
3.Chateau St. Thomas
.
This small, family run vineyard is a hidden jewel about an hour's drive outside of Beirut, up in the Bekaa Valley. The family members are extremely friendly, warm and knowledgeable. The wine is just as excellent as well.
4.Castle Black
.
Whether you’re a Games of Throne fan or not, people from all around Lebanon are very much intrigued with this pub located in Zahle!
It’s the first Games of throne inspired pub, but it’s also cozy and have great drinks!

5.Visit the ORIGINAL Massaad Barbecue
Yes, you might see a lot of Massaad’s nowadays around Lebanon, but the star of them all is the one that started it– in Zahle! It’s affordable, it’s delicious and it’s a definite must try!
