A very successful event was held in collaboration with the Faraya Municipality to celebrate the arrival of our runner Avedis Kalpaklian to this point through his run. A great attendance of over 150 people benefits from a lecture given by Dr. Jackie Maalouf and Endocrinologist Dr. Ghada Ballane to raise awareness about diabetes. A glucose testing was performed and glucose meters were delivered to patients courtesy of One Touch. Also several attendees benefited from HBA1C testing. A large group of Red Cross DM were there to cheer for Avedis and encourage him to finalize his amazing Run for the Diabetes cause. General Chamel Roukoz , Mr, Michel Salameh president of the municipality council, Mr Charbel Salameh and the Meyers of Faraya were amongst the attendees and supporters.
