It started with scribbles,
It translated into a pattern,
It ended with a collection.
Between awareness & daydreaming, Tony Ward was inspired by doodling for his
Fall Winter 2019/20 Ready-to-Wear Collection.
The collection is based on material works, translating the limitless shapes of doodling;
From a mix of colored sequins to drawing on silks, twirling organza & stitching metals.
Dramatic volumes, sculpted with statement belts & asymmetrical cut-outs add an edge
to the feminine silhouettes.
The colors of these doodles range from deep red & charcoal silver to subtle lilac & lime green.
Circles, dots, lines, shapes, geometry, infinite lines, then circles again...
