Almost 21 years later, Renton, Sick Boy, Spud, and Begbie are back, causing mischief once more in the long-awaited sequel to Trainspotting!
Mishwar Amal, a registered Scottish charity working with refugees in the North of Lebanon, will be hosting an special Avant Premier screening of T2 Trainspotting to raise funds for the NGO.
Mishwar Amal works with refugee communities in the north of Lebanon to develop creative projects that benefit communities and help engender real improvements in wellbeing.
We record music with a mobile music studio and also take a mobile cinema around the camps. Now we’re raising funds to build a home for our creative activities in the Nahr El Bared Palestinian refugee camp. We want to build a venue that is both a cinema and a concert venue that will bring the community together and encourage free expression. The Mishwar creative hub will also outreach to the many Lebanese and Syrian communities in the region, helping us to continue our mobile cinema and to also bring other creative experiences to the region.
