Very often, superficial things can be extremely profound and intense, but people tend to glaze, to look at each other in an indifferent manner- missing out on the intense emotions that could be generated from a simple moment.

Photographs, by definition, capture and immortalize a small slice of life. Very often, what viewers may see as extremely superficial can uncover profound emotions and details. And while people barely glaze at each other, they are missing out on the intensity of the ephemeral instant.

The only veil that stands between perception of what is underneath the desolate surface is the will to see what lies behind the details. Beauty that is found in the minimal- sometimes perceived as insignificant- details by most of the people.

About Charles Cremona:

Born in Beirut, in 1980, he has been destinated very early to photography when at eight, his curiosity led him to disassemble a camera in a search for the image secret.

In 2003, he obtained from “l’université du Saint-Esprit- Kaslik” a master degree in photography and started his career of professional photographer in fashion and advertising. At the same time, his career was growing more artistic and more personal. Beside his professional work he was doing a lot of portraits, nudes and humanistic scenes, unveiled through a number of exhibitions.
