Charlotte Abiezzi is a twenty-two year old Lebanese American, born and raised in beautiful San Francisco, California. She just recently graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a double major in Integrative Biology and Psychology. During her undergraduate studies, Charlotte focused on research related to finding new treatments for neuropsychiatric disorders, and also volunteered her time to mentor and tutor children from underprivileged neighborhoods. She has taken on multiple leadership positions during her undergraduate career including Scholarship Director within the Kappa Alpha Theta Organization. In this role, she worked alongside struggling students to help them achieve academic excellence and success. Currently, Charlotte is applying to medical school this summer to fulfill her dream of becoming a Pediatrician. She hopes to inspire families to make better lifestyle decisions and help nurture children physically and mentally. Charlotte's mission has always been to help children in need. To make an impact, she recently raised $3000 for the Lebanese Ladies Cultural Society to help underprivileged yet high achieving students living in Lebanon with academic scholarships. Charlotte is excited to participate in the Miss Lebanese Emigrants World pageant 2019 to share her beautiful heritage with others and to show other young women that with hard work and discipline, they can accomplish anything they set their minds to.
