The Duke of Cambridge spoke for all of us this weekend when he admitted his surprise at Bradley Cooper's singing skills in A Star Is Born.
Prince William, who has been a president of the British Academy of Film and Television Arts since 2010, attended the BAFTAs with the Duchess of Cambridge, who wore a gown by Alexander McQueen. Afterwards, the royals greeted the winners and nominees, including famous faces from The Favourite, Roma, Bohemian Rhapsody and A Star Is Born.
Whilst chatting to director and actor Bradley Cooper of A Star Is Born, William expressed his love for the film: "Congratulations, great film," he admitted, "I didn't know you could sing!"
Cooper got a laugh from the prince with his witty reply, "I didn't either."

The Duke then showed his praise for Lady Gaga's performance, which he described as "amazing", to which Cooper agreed, "Yeah, amazing, oh my God."
"Did you always have her in mind when you wanted to do this?" William asked the question we've all been wondering.
"Not originally," Cooper said. "But then it was dormant for a while, and I saw her perform and that was it."
"It's a really amazing story," added Prince William.
A Star is Born won a BAFTA for Best Original Music and was nominated for other categories like Best Film, Leading Actress (Gaga), Leading Actor (Cooper) and Director (Cooper). The lead song Shallow won two Grammys, for Best Song Written for Visual Media and Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.
