Beyoncé wears eye-catching head piece by Nicolas Jebran on the cover of her new live album
(World News) 4 years ago

Yesterday was a magical day for Beyoncé fans, as her much anticipated Netflix documentary, Homecoming: A Film by Beyoncé was released. However, not one to shy away from surprises, Queen B dropped a live album  Homecoming: the Live Album.

This record, which is available on all major streaming services, features 40 tracks – a two hour celebration of her iconic Coachella 2018 performance. Not only that, but it also contains a handful of re-recordings and fresh tracks, like “Before I Let Go,” a cover of the 1981 single by Maze. Beyoncé posted a picture of the cover art for her album on Instagram, sharing it with her 127 million followers.

.

What caught our eye though, was the heavily embellished head piece, which the 23-Grammy winning artist is wearing on the cover. The eye-catching piece is by Lebanese designer Nicholas Jebran. The designer took to Instagram to share an image of Beyoncé in one of his creations, writing, “Taking the headlines to a totally new level… @beyonce never seizes to amaze the world, and she chooses #NicolasJebran again… ”

Beyoncé’s documentary gave us an inside look at the struggles and just how hard she works. She opened up about the hardships that she faced during her last pregnancy and balancing motherhood and having a career. “I pushed myself further than I knew I could. And I learned a very valuable lesson: I will never never push myself that far again.” According to the mother-of-three, she was scheduled to perform at Coachella in 2017, but found out that she was pregnant with the twins.

“Just trying to figure out how to balance being the mother of a 6-year-old, of twins that need me, and giving myself creatively and physically, it was a lot to juggle,” Beyoncé said. During her pregnancy, she suffered from both toxemia and preeclampsia, a condition related to high blood pressure. She also had to have an emergency C-section because one of the babies’ heartbeats “paused a few times.” On the day she gave birth to Sir and Rumi, she was 218 pounds, “my body went through more than I knew it could,” she added.
