If you've been waiting on your partner to pop the big question, you might just want to take them to an Adele concert-because apparently, her music works some major matrimonial magic.
After a year of surprise proposals happening either onstage or in the crowd during her tour in 2016, Adele unintentionally kept the beautiful tradition going during her show in Melbourne, Australia on Sunday. As E! News reports, the singer invited two super-fans onstage during the show as a "consolation prize" when she realized she'd forgotten to hide a few signed letters under random seats in the arena, which she likes to do as a sweet little surprise for her fans. Picking a man named Chris and his partner Wade after seeing the former start to cry when she sang "Hello," Adele appeared to be just as shocked as the rest of the crowd when the latter dropped down to one knee and proposed to his partner in front of thousands of strangers. (Spoiler alert: Chris said yes!)
.
Adele immediately rushed toward the couple and had Chris confirm his answer into the microphone. She then gave each of them a hug.
"That wasn't planned, I had no idea," Adele told Chris. "Sorry!"
It's fair to say the singer has nothing to apologize for.[Elle]
