In order to spread a new culture among the young generation against drinking and driving, Kunhadi has created "Taxi Night": A party where guests are prohibited from driving their own cars. Guests are offered a two-way taxi to and from the event, two drinks, and open soft drinks and water.
In addition to mandatory complimentary taxi rides, what characterizes this party is the limited number of free drinks every guest receives - only two drinks - to discourage excessive drinking, as well as open water and soft drinks, to raise awareness on the importance of remaining hydrated while partying.
Kunhadi's Taxi Night 20th edition happened on the 28th of April at B018. where RODGE has delivered an exclusive set that raised the roof for Road Safety awareness after he has been announced as Kunhadi's "Road Safety Advocate" and a member of his Board of Trustees.
Owing to his wide social circle, experience and involvement in the open source community, we believe he will be an Invaluable Asset to our organization, supporting our mission, dedication and integrity.
"Taxi Night" is sponsored by Master, Uber, Zaatar W Zeit, Picon, Sannine, and in collaboration with Mix FM.
For wider awareness coverage and wider exposure, all media and televisions were invited to cover the event.
A number of public figures joined Taxi Night to set a good example of partying and taxiing to the Lebanese community.
Proceeds collected from Taxi Night will fund the installation of safe crossings in front of Lebanese schools to keep students safe while crossing the road.
