October is the perfect month for hiking, especially when we are walking between the cedars of Hadath el jebbe. A place where we can realize how God loves men when we see the beautiful nature that he created for us. A place where we can have pure oxygen, a place that will give us health, calm, beautiful landscapes ...
Hadath el jebbe is one of the oldest villages in the mountains of Lebanon. Located in bcharre district, 100 kms away from Beirut at an altitude of 1500m. Its 11.42 km2 transcends hills and is surrounded by valleys. It is distinguished by a healthy climate and beautiful nature which in the past has made it a popular destination. It is surrounded by three different landscapes - valleys, mountains and forests.
The village contains a rich historical and cultural legacy including the st Daniel church built in 1110, and an old souk and many traditional old houses and typical Lebanese architectural elements dating back in the 18th century.
Description of the trail:
Our trail will start inside the village of hadath el jebbe where we will our small breakfast like manakish eggs labneh jebbe... Then we will start our hiking from an altitude of 1500 between the old houses of hadath el jebbe and near st Daniel church that we will visit as well as the old souk of this beautiful village. After the small hike inside the village, we will continue our trail inside the cedars forest. You will enjoy a pleasant walk inside the woods and on the edge of the forest where u can discover the biodiversity of the area. On our way we will pass by saydet chmouneh, two water sources, and the house of cheikh youssef.
We will stop for small lunch break between the cedars where we have the chance to beautiful sceneries of arz tannourine, bcharre cedars , qannoubine valley...
After the lunch break we will head directly outside the cedars forest to the jurd of hadath el jebbe at an altitude of 1700 and than we will return directly downward to the main entrance of the cedars.
Before heading to the Pullman, we will have a small coffee break inside the village and than we will head directly to Beirut.

Required materials : hiking boots, backpack, hat, 2L of water, jacket, healthy snacks.
