Organized by the MENA Design Research, Beirut Design Week is the largest growing design festival in the Middle East & North Africa. It showcases the best of Lebanese and international design, and aims to encourage creative economies, support design entrepreneurship and education, and foster intercultural exchange. This year's edition -the sixth- is focused on "Is Design a Need?".
Foch Square the new culture and Art Venue in Downtown will host 2 exhibitions: 1- Milia M & Leila Pazooki: Object Permanence Objeu Collection , 2- Collective Designer Exhibition, On Monday May 22 till 26 from 6:00 to 10:00pm.
Saifi Village is a natural companion to the festival; several of its designers and ateliers are hosting, on Monday May 22 starting 6:00pm, festival-related activities or open house events, among which we name:Studio Nada Debs, Geek Express, Bang & Olufsen , Vick Vanlian Architecture and Design, Bokja Design Studio and Starch foundation.
