The First edition of the Flashback Exhibition will be held at Brummana's Printania Palace Hotel from July 30th to August 2nd. . The exhibition is organized by In Action Events and under the patronage of the Lebanese Ministry of Tourism.
In addition to showcasing Lebanese's hottest up-and-coming designers and artists, Flashback Exhibition partnered with famous Souk-El-Akel, a street food festival organized by No Garlic No Onions comprising an array of around 30 street food restaurants. Children will also be able to play and enjoy a large set of artistic workshops at the kids' zone.
"Such exhibitions and events are very important for Lebanon's artistic and cultural scene. They allow local talents to be seen and showcase their work. We are excited to bring you the best of Lebanon's artists and creators. We are confident that such initiative will help local artist gain more visibility internationally", said the Lebanese Minister of Tourism Michel Pharaon during the opening ceremony.
Cynthia Wardé Boukather, the organizer of the event said: "We always strive to give art more appreciation in the market, by managing exhibitions that help promote designers, while expanding their market share nationally and internationally. This year, Flashback event has been revamped to make every exhibitor and visitor feel nostalgic again. "
As one of the partners of the event, The Agenda Beirut will bring three speakers to discuss various topics; Roula Nahas will lead a discussion about social media, Anthony Rahayel will discuss food and Rita Lamah will talk about fashion. The discussions will be held over three days.
Flashback is a richly diverse festival it has joined distinguished partners in an orchestrated event that will entertain, engage and delight visitors. The venue of Brummana brings along its unique ambiance as well as the dynamic presence of Souk El Akl, Bloggers, Designers, and creative exhibitors.
