L.I.P.S. Management organized the fourth season of Designers and Brands from March 26 to 28, 2019 at the New Biel - The PARKS, Forn El Chebek.
Beirut witnessed for the fourth time an event unlike any other, in the fourth season of Designers & Brands fashion shows. This event varied in terms of the number of designers and brands participating, as well as many surprises that took place these three days.
The event included more than 20 fashion shows for local and international designers and brands, a large reception area with lounges and showrooms, massive coverage with more than 35 media partners, and witnessed more than 15,000 guests.
Guests enjoyed fashion shows for Aouni Saidi (Lebanon), Hanna Touma Couture (Lebanon), Adiba Al Mahboub (Kuwait), JC Couture (Lebanon), Chero Couture (Lebanon), Mini Fashion Academy (Lebanon), Toufic Al Hassan (Lebanon), Nawaf El Bader (Saudi Arabia), Youssef Kamoun (Lebanon), Aldana by Lara & Haidar (Lebanon), Luana Mahfouz by Ejjeh 1926 (Lebanon), Nagwa Zahran (Egypt), Le Bouquet (Lebanon), Akl Fakih (Lebanon). Moreover, a private fashion show for Rony Richa (Lebanon) took place as well as the fifth edition of the Beirut Young Fashion Designers Competition.
The fifth edition of the Beirut Young Fashion Designers Competition was held on March 28, 2019 at 5:00pm with 15 participants from ESMOD, NDU, AUST, CAMM, BAU and Academy of Fashion Design. Hosted by Maria Farah, the 5th edition of the BYFDC was produced with an aim to shed light on the global movement 'X against human trafficking' through the catwalk setup and the theme outfit of each participant. Ziad Nakad was the head of jury, along with Hanan Tabet, Angie Kassabie, Iman Casablanca and Samantha Fadlallah as jury members, who alltogether elected Joe Abi Khalil as the winner of the BYFDC 5th edition, Racha Khayat in 2nd place and Nancy EL Fakih in 3rd place.
