On the occasion of the Parisian Fashion and High-end Tailoring Week, Kuwaiti international Designer Adiba Al Mahboub presented her high-end "Diamond" wedding collection for the year 2020 at the 34th edition of Oriental Fashion Show, which was held on Monday, January 20, 2020, and was hosted by Carrousel du Louvre in Paris. The show, which dazzled the audience with exquisite designs, was a resounding success for the third year in a row, and was distinguished by the styles of wedding dresses that satisfy all tastes. It is a wonderful collection for every bride who dreams of a luxurious dress on her wedding day.


Adiba Al Mahboub is a Designer specialized in wedding dresses. She owns her haute couture line and special abayas that blend modernity with the eastern spirit in design. She performed for eleven distinctive and elegant wedding dresses. The designer who loved the fashion capital, Paris, previously performed many shows, and this show was distinguished by the designs of luxurious wedding dresses that were used inlaid with precious stones and crystal clear. The "Diamond" collection was distinguished by many different models, in which the designer used fine materials such as silk, lace, tulle, organza, gypsum and crepe, and these designs were adorned with distinctive embroidery, golden and silver threads that made the models looks more charming. Adiba Al Mahboub, the designer, adopted long hairstyles and decorated the models' hair with striking hair accessories, some of which came in the form of a royal crown or long embroidered scarves.


Oriental Fashion Show is more than just a fashion show. Since its inception in 2004 and over the years, this event has become a true artistic platform and cultural dialogue between East and West. The Oriental Fashion Show moved between the walls of the most famous and luxurious palaces of the fashion capital, making it a name that other capitals and cities such as Doha, Baku, London and Marrakech flocked to return to Paris carrying new designers raising the wealth of the distinctive and bright garment of the East in the roots of history.

The new edition praised the wonderful vitality of the magnificence of silk fabrics as the fortunes of Central Asia are still unknown, passing through Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, Turkestan, Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan, then Lebanon, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait and Morocco (Algeria, Tunisia and Libya).

The Kuwaiti Designer Adiba Al Mahboub is the first Kuwaiti designer to reach the world, with a bachelor degree in marketing, she entered the world of fashion design at the age of 19 years, participated in local, Arab and international fashion shows, more than sixteen fashion shows held in Lebanon, the Gulf, and Arab countries, Paris, Rome, Milan, New York, London, Germany, Spain and the Maghreb. She specialized in wedding and evening dresses and won many awards and shields. She owns fashion houses in Kuwait, Emirates and Sultanate of Oman. All her designs are imaginative, passionate about fashion, elegance and weaving, which makes her a prominent name and reference in the world of high-end wedding dresses design.
